I decided to try Thypro when I read about the importance of maintaining a healthy thyroid gland. I was a little shocked by some of the symptoms they described that could be the sign of an overactive, or underactive thyroid. I had quite a few of them.

This is my personal review of my experience with Thypro. Thypro Thyroid supplements are manufactured and distributed by Pacific Naturals, a USA based company.
(if you are looking for the official site click here)

I decided to try Thypro when I read about the importance of maintaining a healthy thyroid gland. I was a little shocked by some of the symptoms they described that could be the sign of an overactive, or underactive thyroid. I had quite a few of them. I was generally tired, but I have raised 3 kids (4 if you count my husband) and held down a full time job and working for a local charity. I also had gained some weight over the last decade (more than I’m willing to put a number to!)

So I decided to give Thypro a try. I must say I didn’t notice much of a difference the first few days or first week. About the second or third week I noticed that I actually wanted to get out of bed on a Saturday morning earlier than normal. Usually, I was exhausted and felt like I could have slept till noon. I had fantasized about staying in bed all weekend. Now I felt like getting up and doing something! I also noticed after about a month that some of my jeans weren’t so tight. I didn’t change my diet, so I thought it might be the Thypro.

I am not going to tell you that this is some wonder drug that will change your life, make you more money, find true love and live happily ever after. For me, I feel better, much more energetic and healthier. I think I have a certain piece of mind knowing that I’m doing something to support the health of my thyroid gland. (One more future possible illness I can hopefully check of my list).

Apparently a healthy thyroid does things like help you with cholesterol levels and brain development and function. Those are hard things to prove, but I personally believe them. (I just one my first family game of Scrabble in 11 years!)

I’m not a doctor, scientist or medical specialist. I have no deep research studies of tons of facts to back up whether Thypro works or doesn’t. All I have is my personal experience. For me, I’m feel MUCH better now than I did a handful of months ago. And, the only thing I’m doing different is taking Thypro.

Why did I decide to write this blog?

When I was looking for information on this product I couldn’t find any reviews or results from what I thought were “real” people. I always wanted to start a blog, ( I wanted to become a “blogger”) and this seemed like a good reason to do so.

Hope this helps. (end of my personal Thypro review)

I had a friend ask me this question when I told her I was trying Thypro. If you go to the official manufactures site you’ll see quite a few testimonials from people who’ve had terrific results that they attribute to Thypro Thyroid supplements. I don’t know any of those people, so I can’t vouch for them.

My personal result is a little less flowery. Over the months I’ve been using this product I have lost a little weight and I generally feel MUCH more energetic. And, because I can’t figure out any other reason for being slimmer and perkier, I’ll stay with Thypro. I feel better than I’ve felt in quite a few years!

I’m not rich, and Thypro isn’t exactly dirt cheap, but I feel younger and so much healthier. Actually, I would pay more every month if someone could prove to me that it was actually the Thypro that has improved my quality of life this much. I decided to try Thypro after reading an article about how important thyroid gland health is to us as we age. However, it’s really hard to prove this works.

Here’s what I mean….

They used to say to take a baby aspirin a day once you turn 40 to help prevent heart disease (especially for men, so I make my husband do it!) So, let’s say you take a baby aspirin a day and you live to be 110 and you never have a heart attack, does that mean that the aspirin was the reason you never had a heart attack?

Could be. It’s probably a factor.
But, can you PROVE it?

You really can’t. You can only prove that something like this DOESN’T work. For me, so far, so good!

For me, I’m getting the results I want. I feel much healthier, more alive, I’ve lost some pounds and I’ve got the energy I had before my kids were born.

Does Thypro work?

I can’t prove it does, but I’m going to keep using it.

I suggest you try it for yourself. That’s the only way to know whether it will work for YOU, or not. They do have a refund policy, so if it doesn’t work, you can claim your refund. I hope it gives you the energy and feeling of well-being that I’m experiencing.

While researching online I came across a few posts and forums comments that said that Thypro was a scam. I was seriously thinking about ordering it and these comments really concerned me. I did a little more research and here’s what I found.

Most of the complaints I found about Thypro WEREN’T about the actual product. The complaints seemed to fall into 2 categories.

Category #1:

From time to time Thypro offers a “risk free trial”. Of course, there really is no such thing as free. You order a two week supply of Thypro from their site and only pay a small shipping and handling charge. But here’s the “catch”, after 14 days, if you haven’t contacted them by phone or email to cancel, they’ll bill your credit card and start sending you monthly supplies. Again, you’ll keep getting these monthly refills and you’ll get charged every month until you cancel. Some companies call this enrolling in an “auto ship” program. Here’s the thing, if these people tried the product, didn’t like it, and simply contacted the company to cancel within 14 days there wouldn’t be a problem.

Some people obviously didn’t read the fine print and are horrified when these charges start showing up on the credit card, and shipments come to their front door. They post their outrage on their most used forum or social networking site. They contact the company and demand their money back. The company is very willing to cancel future orders, but their refund policy then kicks in.

To some people who’ve purchased Thypro on the “risk free trial” offer, and didn’t read the details, this is a scam. My question to them is, “did you really think you’d get something for nothing?” They give you a “sample” for just shipping and handling and are hoping you like it and don’t cancel. But, they make sure it’s up to the customer to cancel. Most companies don’t make money by giving things away for free. That is what a charity is for!

Which brings us to the second issue that has people screaming “Thypro scam”.
Category #2:

The refund policy. If you decide you don’t want to finish the product, and you wish to return it, you can send it back for a refund. However, the customer has to pay the return shipping and sometimes a small restocking fee. There are some people who obviously didn’t read these “details” either and scream SCAM when they have to pay for return shipping and stocking.

Luckily, Thypro worked for me so I didn’t have to return it for a refund. And, if I’m presented with a “free trial offer” I generally take the time to read all the details so I know what I’m getting into.

If NOT reading the details, and then being surprised when this happens is a reason to call something a scam, then that’s a little pathetic.

I didn’t find a single complaint about Thypro Thyroid supplements that had anything to do with the product itself.

After reading a lot of information on the internet I decided to try Thypro. I had gained some weight after having my children and couldn’t seem to get it off. And I was feeling generally lethargic. I went online to see if I could find a retail location close to my house. I couldn’t.

Pacific Naturals manufactures Thypro and they also are the only official seller. The sales are done 100% online through their website.

There are good and bad points to being only able to buy it online from the manufacturer.
First (the bad points). I don’t like having to wait up to a week to have things delivered by snail mail when there are 4 drugstore/pharmacy/health stores within a mile of my house.

Second (the good points). The best thing about having to order online from Pacific Naturals is that you are guaranteed you are actually getting Thypro. There is a certain amount of fear and skepticism when I buy anything online, but knowing I’m buying the “one and only original” gave me confidence when purchasing.

I’ve read that there are a lot of “offshore” pharmacies online that people are using to buy generic drugs and supplements. The supplement market is basically unregulated (unlike the FDA with the drug industry). People have ordered brand name supplements online from sketchy resellers only to receive products that contains 0% of the ingredients they ordered. By purchasing Thypro directly from the manufacturer you are guaranteed to get the real deal.

That’s a good thing!

Your thyroid gland has a lot of important duties. It controls and assists with your growth, bone health, and your brain development. It is also very important in helping you with maintaining healthy cholesterol levels and your proper, healthy weight. It is reported that your thyroid gland controls your metabolism. Thypro Thyroid Support supplements were developed to help the thyroid gland stay strong and healthy.

Pacific Naturals is the manufacturer of Thypro Support supplements. They are based, and manufacture Thypro in the USA. This is a well established company that has been in existence for a long time and is a member of the Natural Products Association.

Thypro is an all-natural supplement that contains no harmful artificial chemicals. From my research I found no-one reporting any negative side effects from using Thypro. It is simply an all natural solution to help someone maintain optimum thyroid health.

In this “fad of the day” diet environment many people are unaware of the importance your thyroid plays in maintaining your ideal weight. Your thyroid is one of those unsung working parts inside your body. Actually, unless it becomes a problem, we rarely think about it.

To give you a comparison, think of your thyroid like you would think about the thermostat on your heater or air conditioner. We take it for granted, it does it’s job turning on and off without us giving it much thought. But, if it breaks down or malfunctions we realize how much we rely on it.

If your thyroid not working properly that can lead to weight gain and fatigue.

(Do you know anyone who’s gained some weight or is feeling tired?)

When these symptoms arise we generally think we are over worked or stressed (fatigue), and the weight gain simply means we’re eating too much or not excersizing enough. It would be rare for someone to say, “Maybe it’s my thyroid“.

Here are some statistics I found that are shocking. It is estimated that 20 million people in the USA have some sort of thyroid disorder. And, about 5% of the population has an “undiagnosed” disorder. For women the stats are even worse. They estimate that 1 in 8 women will have a problem with their thyroid.

Obviously, correcting and maintaining good thyroid health should be a priority. There are some really bad things that can happen as a result of having a malfunctioning thyroid. Much more serious than just slight fatigue and some weight gain.

If you’ve gained a few pounds, or you’re feeling tired, maybe you should try working on your thyroid health as well as your exercise bike. I did, and I decided to try some holistic solutions. I decided to try Thypro.
